This "journalist" clearly rode the short-bus to school. Seriously, a lot of the misinformatin about guns in media is (willful) ignorance. This is just plain stupidity. Summed up with this line: Wentz owns six guns: two shotguns, three rifles and a hunting bow. He hunts ducks, geese, pheasants, deer, turkey (having never successfully caught one) and coyote.

Yes, wild turkeys can fly.  Sometimes even roosting in trees as a way to avoid predators.

I hate to be the grammar nazi here but someone should point out that the word media is plural, so correct usage would be the media are dumb.  The singular is medium.  It might be argued that the word media is used as though it's singular so often it's idiomatic, but to me that's like arguing that use of the word clip to refer to a magazine is idiomatic.  Liberals are always accusing patriots of being uneducated cretins, and we should not feed that false stereotype.
