someone correct me if i'm wrong, but i think the refund would come with your tax refund, not just a check.

Correct on the backdating. Any transfer begun since the initial introduction date of October 2015 will receive a tax credit. It is not a refund, it will be credited towards tax paid.
And Les, yes. It will be worse than pre-41F. Think about it. All those people who wouldn't file as an individual, and didn't want to pay for a trust, can now go pick up a can. If it passes, I'd almost be willing to lay money on the fact that within 2 weeks every available can on the shelf will have been bought, either by enthusiasts, or assholes looking to make a buck.
Les:

for Trump, he could be great leader or he could be a great basketball player (Fakes Right, goes Left).

Ahh yes Jr is a big fan.
Sigh. I suppose similar to post sandy hook

After reading the article one of my favorite lies was this one:
--- Quote ---But gun-control activists say silencers are getting quieter, particularly in combination with subsonic ammunition, which is less lethal but still damaging. They point to videos on YouTube in which silencers make high-
powered rifles have “no more sound than a pellet gun,” according to one demonstrator showing off a silenced semiautomatic .22LR.
--- End quote ---
Hold up, a .22LR is a high powered rifle? Yeah, let's put it on something with a lot more umph. I shot my AR-15 at the Black Rifle Challenge and somehow ended up in the middle of the Bennet crew for one event. Although my unsuppressed rifle was a lot louder than theirs, I still needed earpro when they fired their weapons. A .22 is not that loud in the first place and is definitely NOT a high powered rifle.
I hope this goes through, but I am very doubtful that it will pass just because the anti-gunners have gotten the general public so scared of suppressors in the first place. I am willing to promote any educational videos that come out from people like the boys from Bennet in the hopes that people will learn the truth.

If we beat the big lie machines well enough to get a loyal American elected President I think there is a good chance we can beat them on illegal gun control edicts too. Maybe not, but I think we have a good shot at it (and for now at least an unsuppressed shot). What will ultimately make the biggest difference though will be getting a majority of competent judges in the federal judiciary, especially the Supreme Court, who will do their duty in defending the Constitution instead of being part of an effort to destroy it.
