For what it's worth.  Nice how they left out the part that's it's virtually impossible to transport a firearm thru omaha legally without a CHP or locked case.  http://www.klkntv.com/story/35068684/gun-pre-emption-bill-sparks-debate-among-nebraska-lawmakers

The liberal press determines newsworthiness by propaganda effect: if it will promote liberalism it is newsworthy; if it will have a counter-propaganda effect that will detract from liberalism, it is not.  Degree of newsworthiness is directly proportional to degree of propaganda effect.  This is a method of deception commonly called a lie by omission.

The liars of the liberal press are on a holy crusade to disarm as many citizens as they can, to the greatest extent they can.  If those bigots had their way only government, criminals, and those who guard rich people would be armed.

One of the reasons Trump won the election is that he stood up to those liars and treated them like the liars they are.  I wish all patriots in government would do likewise.
The liberal cult seeks destruction of the American Republic like water seeks low ground.

Add  the "Urinal" to this.  I like how Walton makes it sound like it's all being pushed by the NRA.  http://journalstar.com/legislature/nra-backed-gun-law-filibustered/article_c7777500-40f7-514a-9fc5-cb3712cc39e0.html?utm_content=buffer2c9e7&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=LEEDCC

The comments show the ignorance to the laws and issue.  The emotional drive is in high gear.  We need to get the NRA to start taking a back seat in these state issues and use us as the forefront to put the local citizens picture on the bills instead of the national organization.  Every liberal knows who the NRA is and hates them, they do not all know who the NFOA is...

Patty Pansing-Brooks, "This isn't the Wild West."  Don't they ever get tired of trotting out that phase?

Don't we hear that over and over and over again during EVERY debate about CCW in EVERY state?  Has it EVER materialized?

Must resonate in ignorant ears.

Outside of the article's slant, that's what irritated me as well.  Yes, the comments were almost laughable.

"The Wild West" they imagine never actually existed.  Movies exaggerate everything.

American Indians might disagree with you on that point ... as might the families of the settlers killed by Indian raiding parties.

Additionally, most studies that I've seen note that there was little to no actual law or law enforcement in many of the areas associated with the "wild west" and, therefore, crime reporting was sorely lacking.  The truth is, we don't really know for sure how many murders occurred in the "wild west."
