20Nickels, I don't know what the area you're hunting is like.  Hunting over feeders at 30 yards the AR with holo sight was perfect.

It's a LONG drive from here but I heard that Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri allows hog hunting on base as long as you don't use centerfire rifles.  My Mossberg 930 with 9 rounds of slugs would be a fun hog killing machine.
