Thunder Acres

Anyone here have any experience at this place?  I called the man and he seems nice enough... going to meet him soon.  Looks like he is involved with LASR Steel Target systems.   I saw on another forum where some were complaining that it is not a good place to shoot... so I'm looking for some input from those here who have gone there.

Do you mean Thunder Alley in Lincoln?  If so, yeah, it's not the newest place but they're nice to deal with and less expensive than the newer ranges.  As long as its safe and the equipment works, I don't really care if its old or fancy, but that's just me. :)

Unfortunately, I don't get to any of the ranges as much as I'd like to...

Thanks for the reply!  I didn't mean Thunder Alley though. :)  This place is in Palmyra... it is a single guy with land that allows people to shoot at a range he has built.  It is done by "donations" and not membership.  It is a little unorthodox, but I'm interested because I can continue to train the way I always have.  From the holster and shooting and moving.
