I have been looking at some of the Radical Firearms Ar parts, how do you feel about the quality? The prices are nice.

I have yet to put a round through this rifle. I've been swamped at work.

The quality of the parts are on par with all of my other rifles. Obviously I still can't comment on function. I Didn't weigh it, but it is a Tank...

The X-Sight, is a nice little toy. It is a battery hog though. I bought some external batteries. The illuminator isn't very good. I will be purchasing a more powerful one in the near future. I ended up putting a riser on my rail to get the sight up a little higher.  This sight would be much better on a side charging rifle. It covers the charging handle, and can be quite an annoyance...

I finally got to run the Grendel through it's paces up in Pike Forrest. The verdict on the ATN-X Sight in my opinion, it's garbage. It actually was terrible in the daylight. After some day and night practice with it, I just deemed it to be pretty ineffective. I have since switched to The Vortex HS-T 6-24x50

The Radical FA Grendel performed flawlessly through a couple hundred rounds. I love the gun, but the cheap ATN was atrocious...

This website is pretty much the "Holy Grail" for the 6.5 Grendel, good info and a good many run NV or thermal.  Give it a look.  www.65grendel.com
