I use an Uncle Mikes Kydex holster for competitive shooting. I went to a major USPSA area championship match last October down in Missouri. I was so paranoid about my gun (even though I never have issues with it) I took a backup gun, as well as most every part to replace on my gun if needed. So I'm walking around on the 8th stage and plop, my gun and holster fall right off my belt!!! The screws had come loose on the holster, so the holster came off of the belt attachment. Of course I had no spare parts for my holsters, but I was prepared by checking my guns!

Luckily my friend had an extra holster in his car that I borrrowed a couple of screws off of to complete my match.
