I never bought a Savage gun so that's no loss to me. But, I'm currently using a lot of products on the list. I guess I can always look for alternatives.
depserv:
If they are selling Savage and Stevens, maybe it's an investment opportunity. But I've never owned either one, so I guess I don't know a lot about them.
Hopefully they'll decide to sell some of their other brands too so I can start buying them again, and maybe even buy into them, since they'll probably be selling for less than what they're worth.
Dan W:
I read somewhere that Vista Outdoor is having financial issues and they may be related to the Remington bankruptcy and that is the reason for the sales
Wrmedic:
From the little research I did Vista has been discussing this since November, at least according to Vista release. There is some information that I’d did find that REI was pushing Vista due to there NRA affiliation. Not that I’m taking sides and this is somewhat questionable due to timing but the flip side is that Vista also is owner of several other product lines/companies that the lefties would have them get rid of if they got their way. So the me it looks like REI bikes and outdoor equipment should be on the Same list as Yeti and several other companies. I guess I’m Willing to give Vista the benefit of the doubt due to other investments they have.
