Andy and I met Jeff Knox and Gary Marbut in St. Lious last fall. This story is blowing some holes in the theory we hear every week that the NRA is the only group you need to belong to. Where would we be today if the NFOA weren't formed? 
The sheep don't like this sheepdog until the wolves start working the flock.

Good post SBarry. Glad for NFOA and still respect the efforts of NRA

One thing I don't agree with is their assertion that the grassroots movements are taking their cues from the tea party groups.  A lot of local groups have been around much longer than that.
