For the free stuff.   Remember, Socialism works as long as it has access to other people's money.  But, those Nazifornia politicians, except for Pelosi and Waters, are not senile.  They understand that some people will sell their vote (and their democratic heritage) for free stuff;  an income that doesn't depend on working, free food, rent free or subsidized, free phones, free health care.     Here in Nebraska, and I suspect most other states, an illegal alien can walk into a hospital ER and get free health care and meds, and walk out without so much  as giving their name.  Those that pay for their hospital treatment pick up the tab, be they medicare patients or those who work and pay premium prices for their insurance coverage.   That's why the dems want to allow free entry of ilegals, and then give them voting privileges.  It will guarantee their continued re-election for life.

It's both sides of the isle.   While private citizens their net worth after years of lawyering is under a $1M.  After two or three terms in Congress that same business acumen gets them $3-4 Million?   No, it's all due to the insider trading they do, after exempting themselves from the insider trading laws which forbid such practices.

The exemption of Congress from insider trading regulations is one of the worst abuses of power in our history.  If more people knew about it and understood the implications you would think there would be a huge backlash.  Unfortunately, bread and circuses keep most people in the dark.

Because that's all they know.  Most of their experience with firearms involves someone shoving a gun in their face/loved one during a robbery or home invasion so of course they hate guns, it makes sense.  Plus the media pumps guns are bad 24/7 and that's what we get.......an uphill battle to keep our rights.  I've worked with plenty of folks from both coasts here in Ne. most if not all are terrified of firearms.  I'm sure I don't have to tell most of you this but, we are fighting an uphill battle and we need more help than we currently have.  Rant off/stepping down off soap box.  Back in my corner.......
