It seems that you can be a model citizen, have a clean record and never even have had a speeding ticket, run for Congress, and you still lose your 2A rights simply because someone in the FBI puts you on their "Red Flag" listing, which automatically prevents you from buying a firearm.   You'll find out when you get the letter from the FBI telling you.

I thought that they were suppose to arrest someone for attempting to buy a gun when NICS has them listed as a prohibited person.
