I got mine this month.  It was a month to the day between application and the issue date on the permit.  The permit came in the mail two days later.

I got mine in the last month and it took 1 day short of 5 weeks.  Still not bad considering a guy I work with got his last year and it took almost 9 weeks.

i just recieved my permit today...... and its the best birthday present ever from the State Patrol.   :)
