Hi-Point 45 ACP
« on: December 14, 2008, 11:06:08 PM »
500 rounds of 230gr. FMJ's and HP's. Shooting cheap to pricey ammo. So far I have had no problems.
This is not a match pistol, it is not a 1911, Glock, Sig etc... Neither is it a light weight.
But it is a fairly accurate, inexpensive pistol to defend yourself and others with. I like mine and as a matter of fact I would like to own the 40 S&W version of this pistol just to see what it is like.

The fuctionality (I think that is a word), options, warranty, features and price make this a good firearm.

I'm curious as to where Hi-Point firearms are made. Are they an American product or imported?

Which state do they come out of? How long have they been around? I've heard of them over the years but honestly nothing very good. Sounds like a few guys on here have them and like them.

Have the .40 and the 9mm and like both. Carry a S&W MP .40 though because of size and weight but shoot all of them.
