I do wish they would reword their charges as such:  posessing an unregistered firearm(to show that the registration process in more than just a list of legally owned firearms;)), and carrying a concealed weapon without a permit (because without mention of the permit, those who carry legally, look quilty by association in the sheeples eyes)
