Is the stuff they sell  fair quality or just a china mart dumping grounds?

It's a combination of both.  Read the reviews on a product before you buy it.  I haven't had a bad experience, that I can recall, and I've been buying stuff from them for years.

Not sure what you're referring to, but I shop other places before I buy at CTD and won't buy something at CTD that's more expensive than elsewhere unless I already have stuff shipping from CTD and the shipping savings makes up the difference.  Is CTD the cheapest place for everything?  No.  Are they competitive on most things?  Yes.

I can't understand all the people who dislike CTD.

During the post '08 Election buying frenzy, they marked all their ammo way up and were selling a 20 round box of Wolf .223 ammo for something like $20 per box(when everyone else had it priced around $8 per box)...and had it marked as a " -187% savings" over the regular price of something like $2.99.    

They will never live that down.

If you do a search over at AR15.com, you may find even more interesting stories on their pricing.

BTW- I have no problem with them charging whatever price they want for their products as I am all for Capitalism, they just dug their own grave with many in the gun community by doing that.

I just had to shorten the shoulder strap up a bit... I even added a subdued medics cross patch the Janus... I still need to add some more items like quick-clot and a good trauma dressing to complete the first aid kit portion...
