Good!  In my letter I took out some of the mumbo-jumbo and replaced it with, "I don't mind policy built on science, but it seems with this administration there is a lot of policy being build on politics rather than science."

Seriously - it is just me or have we gone WAY overboard.  I grew up gnawing on a crib that was painted with the finest lead based paint money could buy.  When I was a bit older me and my friends spent hours on the sidewalk rolling around and playing with balls of mercury when a thermometer broke.  I've ridden thousands of miles on bicycles with no helmet and then in high school if you didn't get at least one concussion a year playing football you probably didn't see the field much. 

My fear is that we're becoming a nation of wimps . . . then again, maybe I'm just getting old!

I don't think it's just us Mike!  I'm so sick of politicians it's not even funny... both sides are the problem.  Make rules and laws that are needed... not the way it has been done these days.

Agreed Grunt.  I'm so much more aware of 2nd Amendment laws and encroachments upon our rights now... so glad I've gotten my carry permit and become more active member of the gun community.  This site is awesome for keeping tabs on Nebraska and places all over the country.
