Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom.   J. F. K.

Unfortunately, his militia isn't quite what we'd expect in the U.S.  They're actually a formal armed military organization under command of the commander in chief - Hugo himself.  The Venezuelan militia was created to "respond ideologically and militarily to the orders of President Hugo Chavez in order to fight violence in the countryside."  Here's a good article on the creation of Venezuela's Bolivarian Militia of Peasants - http://www.vheadline.com/readnews.asp?id=84465.

Very scary group if you don't agree with Chavez!

Control is an illusion, even if you are the Commander

That's a fact!  He might want to be careful or that militia could be his down fall.
