Cops Shot at Creighton Med Center

Don't know how to attach links, but check Fox News website and the Omaha news sites.  Two cops wounded, suspect dead of lead poisoning. 

Time to Napalm Omaha????

Reports are now that he didn't pull through.
He lived west of Tekamah but I'm not sure where he was from originally. 
Helped do some work on a friend's house with him a few years back.  Seemed like a decent enough guy at the time.

You never know what people are capable of sometimes.

Police confirm Jeffrey Layten, 39, is the man who was involved in the police-involved shooting. He died at 2:30 p.m., according to investigators.

read on another site he was upset with exwife or estranged wife.  roughed her up then said he was going to her mom's house if i recall.  police started following when he drove by her house.  reports of speeds hitting 100mph in the chase.  his truck hit a pole and he fled on foot with a rifle.  that was earlier today though, so not sure about validity of the reports.
The master has failed more than the beginner has even tried.

Seems as though he had some friends in high places, James Martin Davis, Rep. Lee Terry... interesting how this all worked out.  I'm interested to see what they establish as a motive.
