Don?t tell me why you didn?t vote, explain it to a vet
« on: November 12, 2010, 11:59:24 AM »
On this day when the nation honors its military veterans ... it might be more appropriate for these non-voting slackers to trot down to the local Veterans of Foreign Wars hall, find somebody who walks on crutches or artificial limbs, or will spend the rest of his days in a wheelchair, and explain to that citizen hero just why it was that you couldn?t get off your lazy fat apathy to vote. And after you're done explaining, remember to thank that vet for serving, and you might just apologize for not holding up your end.

With the record low turnouts in allot of precincts, even here in Nebraska, this is something we need to think about.  We honor all that those who have served and those that made the ultimate sacrifice by using our Civil Rights and the Right to Vote is among the most important.
