COUNCIL BLUFFS ? Maybe some customers used the gift certificate for fishing poles instead, but a Council Bluffs car dealer says the offer of a free gun with every new vehicle was a business boom.

Classic Chevrolet Cadillac, in a November advertising campaign called ?Bang meets Buck,? offered buyers of new cars a Bass Pro Shops gift certificate good for a hunting rifle or shotgun.
