If I wanted to give a handgun to some-one in another state, what hassles must I go thru with the .gov?

The Right to Keep and BEAR Arms is enshrined explicitly in both our State and Federal Constitutions, yet most of us are afraid to actually excercise that Right, for very good reason: there is a good chance of being arrested........ and THAT is a damned shame. III.

Wow, 2 days without a response?!? OK, I'll bite.
Out of state? Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you'll need to transfer from your local FFL dealer to their local FFL dealer. And yes, they'll get a NICS background check.
