First Steel Challenge Match (at ENGC) of the year!
« on: January 14, 2011, 05:33:53 PM »
This Sunday, at ENGC, come on out for a Steel Challenge match.  5 stages, and all the cold you can handle.  :)

Setup will start at 7:30am or so, and shooting starts at 10.  Come on out and give it a try!  Shoot rimfire pistol (don't even need a holster) or centerfire pistol (no movement, and no reloading on the clock---just need a good safe holster that covers the trigger guard) and have a good time.

You didn't put a date on here.  I assume it's this saturday.  Wish I could be there, but this weekend just won't work.

It was indeed a good time.  Little cool (okay, it was cold) but there wasn't any wind, the stages were fun, and we got to shoot a lot.  (Those of us who missed got to shoot a lot MORE than some...)  19 shooters came out and gave it a try, and everyone seemed to have fun.

(Well, except for a couple of .22 shooters.  Those .22s just aren't quite as reliable in extreme cold...)

@stutzcattle
The match was Sunday, January 16th.

Our next Steel match is February 20th----everyone get that on your calendars now!  :)

(USPSA pistol match on Feb 6th, but I'll be talking about that in a difference thread...)
