Who can do Civil War restoration?
« on: February 04, 2011, 05:45:45 PM »
I have a customer with 3 Civil War rifles he would like to have fully restored.  Any recommendations on who to take those to?

Give Lonnie at Run-N-Iron (who appears to be a NFOA supporter) a call. I don't know how much experience he has with Civil War era hardware, but he does great work. I also think he would give you an honest answer if he felt he couldn't do a good job.

I will echo the above recommendation.  It won't be cheap(from anyone), but Lonnie does some amazing work.

I don't think you will find any better than Lonnie
