comp-tac M-tac is the best holster on the market IMO... leather back, kydex keeps it light on the front... absolutely awesome.

Make sure you check out www.tuckergunleather.com and their "answer" is by far the best, most comfortable inside the waistband hybrid holster. Ole Mr. Tucker was the one who started the whole hybrid holster and I have tried them all and this is by far the most comfortable.  A little more expensive but worth it.  He will leather line the inside of the kydex to help prevent the scratchin of the gun and also helps with retention.  The back side is suede so it is nice and comfortable against the skin.  Check it out.  I own one for my XD sub compact and my EMP.

IIRC, mine took six weeks to the day from the time I submitted the application.

The M-Tac is a comfortable holster.  The Kydex kept crushing on the one I had making re-holstering difficult and dangerous.  I've since switched to CrossBreed and have been very happy.

I OC a lot while I'm hunting/hiking/camping/travelling, so it's not that different.  just gotta get the holster better adjusted so the gun doesn't dig into my back when I slouch...

I read another humorous list somewhere else about the other things you had to do while at the Walmart.  Like bend over to get something off a bottom shelf and then reach up to a top shelf, just to test your method of carry and cover garment.

I suppose if your firearm is exposed or it falls out of the holster onto the floor, you fail.  ;D

today is the 4 weeks minus 1 day that I applied for my permit,  dh got his in this time frame.  Not sure if presidents day held it up but I fear there may be an issue as I had to answer a question yes.

I guess they have 45 days so need to jump to any conclusions.  Ive just waited 4 years for that 10 year mark to pass, dont need to be punished needlessly any more.  Past 4 years several calls to the nsp, different answer everytime, so just waited it out.

4 week mark, nada.   In all fairness I applied on a friday afternoon, so the mail was already done, so it may not of been processed until Monday.  So maybe Monday is really my 4 week mark.  Was Presidents day a business day for them?

Am I obsessing?  :)

Im not that obsessive normally, Ive been waiting 4 years to apply due too uncertainty and lack of definite answers, lack of preemption, and sigh gotchas, all which has been fixed.

So this last month hurts the most.

Any other time a month would just fly by but when you are waiting for something important time really slooows down. It took mine 36 days but I was sick and in the hospital during that time so it didn`t really matter how long it took. Just very happy when I finally got it.

Sitting on bucket, elbows on knees, chin resting in hands. Damn it's been 6 wholes days and nothing yet. :(
Standing up, circling bucket, stop, looks down at bucket. Kicks stupid bucket, walking away mumbling something about having to wait another 21 days or more. :angry9:
Oh did I mention bucket was filled with wheel weights. :'(
