Better get our laws passed this session....he's back
« on: January 19, 2011, 12:13:41 PM »
Ernie Chambers is thinking about running again in 2012.  If he does it's almost certain he'll be elected by North Omaha, and you can bet he'll block every pro-gun bill that comes along.  I just hope this time around the other senators have the guts to stand up to him rather than let him walk all over the Legislature like he used to.

Quote
"People didn't tell me that I couldn't do things," he said. "I used that platform to lay it on these white people. ? I had no fear of any of them."

What a horrible, hate filled man.  If any other Senator had said something like that they would be run out of town on a rail for being a racist, but apparently it's ok for Ernie.

It has always been that way, I remember when Ernie said all the white people should move back to Europe.  When someone objected, they were told he was just voicing his opinion and the comment wasn't racist.

More double standards for the left side of the aisle.  He'll be back and he'll be more petty and more arrogant than ever.
"It is better to avoid than to run; better to run than to de-escalate; better to de-escalate than to fight; better to fight than to die. The very essence of self-defense is a thin list of things that might get you out alive when you are already screwed." – Rory Miller

This ought to be interesting, I'm wondering if Brenda Council, now that she has tasted power, will want to take a back seat to Ernie...

She probably won't want to, but good luck beating him in that district.

He hasn't lived in that district for many years.

IIRC, he never lived in his original district either, but no one ever challenged him on it.
