The master has failed more than the beginner has even tried.

Good thing the teacher wasn't allowed to conceal a gun to protect himself! But he also escalated the incident by getting involved.

Please print and send or email:

Dear Sen. Ashford:

In light of the latest school tragedy, I request new legislation to be passed to strongly control knives.   Had this young girl of not of had a knife, she should not of been able to commit this atrocity.  Further, there should be statutes that hold adults accountable for leaving unlocked knives out where children can get to them.  Having a knife is the only reason she did this, and we must take measure NOW to prevent this type of thing from occurring in the future.

At a minimum, we must also take measure to prevent high capacity knives from being sold and manufactured.

I also would like to see the assault knife ban reinstated.

Please, I beg of you, help us get control of our knife problem before more innocent people are killed, mamed, and hurt.

Thanks guy.

I hope he does it because it makes him look even more as a moron.  What was the bill number?

It was probably a cheap "Saturday Night Special" steak knife, an inexpensive throw away made made only to cut flesh, it obviously has no sporting purpose...

I can't help but wonder if the said knife had been removed from the school cafeteria. The knife scanners would not have revealed it...since it was an inside job  ;)

I am sorry the teacher got stabbed and pray for a speedy recovery.

Good point, and she is 17 so obviously not a student there.  Too bad the good samaritan was hurt in this.  I guess we teachers should dismiss the kids and lock the doors instead of going outside...
