Two free fun events at the Omaha Public Library
« on: March 07, 2011, 11:27:45 AM »
If you like board games the Benson Library is going to have two free fun events.  While you cannot carry @ the library, but perhaps you can wear your NFOA shirt and meet new people and leave a good impression.  Anyway the first event is board gaming and the library will have a wine and beer bar.  There will also be snacks that are free.  It is 21 and older only.  You can read more and/or sign up here:  http://tinyurl.com/69acqne  All proceeds from the bar sales goes to the Friends of the Library and helps buys books, computers and supplies.

The other even is a Gaming Night.  It too will have board games but I am also busting out the Playstation and Wii.  I will also have the computers open for online gamers.  There may even be an Atari Emulator there if I can beg it off of downtown.  There is no booze at my event and it is open for 17 year olds and up.  I will have soda and snacks there.  The soda is coming out of my pocket and it is free.  So sign up and have some fun.  If you are under 19 years of age we will need you to fill out a parental permission form.  You can sign up here:  http://tinyurl.com/47lknfq  You can get the form just stop into Benson and ask the the Shad err some fat guy named Rodney.

If this is in the wrong spot or violates mods please remove.
