I'd guess it is in accord with the federal sentencing guidelines, but 21 months seems on the soft side for this.  I'm all for throwing the book at people who illegally get guns to thugs.  If we would just enforce the laws we have now, there wouldn't be an argument for added restrictions and hoops to jump through.

21 months?  Slap offenders with the maximum, that will stop them from offending.
