Knife engravers
« on: March 31, 2011, 07:29:39 PM »
I'm looking to have a knife engraved.  Does anyone know of an engraver that could do a knife blade.  It will be a powder coated knife that looks like this knife

Thanks for the help.

ADMIN- I am getting a virus warning from that link so it was removed ADMIN

I don't know about engravers, but here's a link that works:

Definitely a nice looking knife.

Hmm, link works when I click on it, but I don't know.

My little brother is currently deployed to A-stan.  I'd like to have "From a Proud Brother" with the Navy symbol engraved on one side.  And "To a Brave Soldier" with the Army symbol engraved on the other.

As you probably guessed he is in the Army and I was in the Navy.  I'm very proud of him and this will probably mean as much to me as it will to him.

Thanks Dan.  I've got AVG also and never have got anything from them on that site.  But thanks for the heads up.

DO NOT CLICK ON THAT LINK!!!!

The one posted by BILL in post #2 is infected.

I clicked on the link to see the knife, and after the photo came up for two seconds, another virus site popped up and tried to start running a "virus scan" on my computer.  Those are well known to cause major problems.

I had to do a hard crash to get it to stop and am now running a full system clean.

I hate to ask, but mods please delete before someone else clicks on the link.

I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy.  I carry a lot of ammo because I cant run very fast.

An engraver I would recommend is Russ Zima out of Denver Colorado. He does great work, is reasonably priced and has a fast turn around time. He is one of those 'sleepers' who are getting busier as others discover him. You can call him at 303-657-9378. His web site is http://rzengraving.com/
