Check out the following site. I didn't see any no ccw signs while in Vegas a couple months ago. I carried the whole time there and never had a problem

If I remember correctly the City of Las Vegas has a registration law that they strictly enforce. I would take the time to give the local PD a call before I went to verify local laws, if I remember correctly from something I read on another forum they have a brochure they will send you about there laws on firearms.

It sounds like there may be some special rules in some Nevada cities as AAllen said...

http://www.lvmpd.com/permits/firearms_concealed.html
handgunlaw.us says that NV recognizes NE CHPs, but the Las Vegas police website seems to be a little sketchy. As AAllen said...call the po-po to get the skinny.

I don't even know that I'd trust the police to give you accurate info. You can't count on person on duty at the desk, or even the patrol cop to know the law. The advice as I've always received is, "Consult an attorney."

Thanks for the replies and information. I think I am going to try emailing the Police Department first and then try calling if I don't get anywhere. This will be the first time I have traveled through multiple states with my CHP. Normally I only travel to Kansas and back. If I get some worth while information I will pass it along.
Thanks
