What Is Your Favorite Firearm/Action Movie?
« on: December 15, 2008, 11:25:13 PM »
Just watched "The Shooter" this evening pretty good had some sniper action using 50 BMG's and many AR's.
Not sure if it is my favorite but do like it, own the DVD and still watched the show on cable.

This is gun related, right?

Heat is probably the one all gun owners think of.   Red Dawn when on thinks of RKBA, Ronin has some good scenes.
Machinegun owners blow thier load with one pull of the trigger

Great call, David. Heat and Ronin are two of my favorite movies. Ronin also blesses us with a killer car chase.

Boondock Saints may well be my overall favorite, though.

Collateral.   For pure D excellent, realistic pistol-fu.  Particularly the "Briefcase in the alley" scene.......

"Blackhawk Down" though parts are real tough to watch.  Ridley Scott directed and great cast.

I simply cannot watch the part where the young Ranger dies when they can't clamp off his femoral artery.

Good call Jay.  Every time I see Boondock Saints and see the street shootout, I see that as a piece of artwork with handguns.

THERE WAS A FIREFIIIIIIIGHT!  ;D

I did not like Heat or Collateral at all.

Not really a "gun" movie, but Saving Private Ryan was chock full of M1 goodness.

Terminator 2 and Lord of War had some good gun scenes.  It seems whenever Lord of War gets brought up, 1/2 the crowd considers it anti-gun, and 1/2 the crowd considers it pro-gun.

Collateral was a reminder that just because they are goblins does not mean they are without skills.......
