Read who the FOUNDING MEMBER is.........
This offshoot of the MAIG group is obviously attempting to gain incredible political power by showing NATIONAL LEADERSHIP in anti-gun laws.

Too bad the Missouri couldn't have cut a new channel around Omaha and made it part of Iowa.

So tired of the "big city" politicians.

Ashford needs to read the Posse Comitatus Act:

"...The substantive prohibitions of the Posse Comitatus Act (PCA) were extended to all the services with the enactment of Title 10 USC, Section 375. As required by Title 10 USC, Section 375 the secretary of defense issued Department of Defense Directive 5525.5, which precludes members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps from direct participation in a search, seizure, arrest, or other similar activity unless participation in such activity by such member is otherwise authorized by law.

The PCA generally prohibits U.S. military personnel from direct participation in law enforcement activities. Some of those law enforcement activities would include interdicting vehicles, vessels, and aircraft; conducting surveillance, searches, pursuit and seizures; or making arrests on behalf of civilian law enforcement authorities. Prohibiting direct military involvement in law enforcement is in keeping with long-standing U.S. law and policy limiting the military’s role in domestic affairs..."

Something tells me Ashford doesn't care too much about laws that limit government's power.  This is the same guy who introduced a bill last year that was in direct violation of the Heller ruling.

There is no such thing as an "illegal gun", they are trying to make up and brainwash the sheep. Every gun is legal to someone, somewhere, with the right paperwork.

It is a play on words, makes me very upset to see this.
The sheep don't like this sheepdog until the wolves start working the flock.

On a side note, I don't believe Posse Comitatus applies to the National Guard when not in federal service.  He is still an idiot.

Well folks the only way we are going to be rid of this far left loon Brad Ashford is to get him fired. It was a shame that no one ran against him last year. It is an outrage and disgrace that he is a member of the Republican Party (switched over from the Democrats). There needs to be an effort to have someone run against him who is a true conservative not some Democrat wearing elephant skin. Senator Ashford must be exposed on his extreme views and the voters in his district deserve to have a choice. Now lets also hope Erny Chambers doesn't prevail against Senator Council.

I’d be willing to volunteer to work on the campaign of anyone here who is willing to run. We should organize and beat him. Hell, I’d run if I lived one mile north.
