BURLINGTON, Wash. — Three local shooters will be among the more than 650 competing in the STI U.S. Practical Shooting Association National Handgun Championships in Las Vegas.

James Howard of Cedar Creek and Tom Engel and William Hanna of Omaha are the three Nebraskans competing at the event, which features shooters from 45 states and six countries.

I know Tom is a NFOA member and donor, not sure about the others.  He is a regular at Rock Your Glock and other area competitions(and a Bennington graduate).

It is actually kind of strange---both Tom and I went to Nationals last year also (don't remember if Bill went, I'll have to ask him at the next USPSA match--I think he did) and the OWH decided they weren't going to print the USPSA news release then.  This year, for some reason, they did.  Had all sorts of people where I work suddenly ask me about shooting and such.  :)

Tom doesn't need luck---he's been getting better and better all year.   The rest of us, on the other hand...   :o
