Historic Firearms Display at Fort Hartsuff SHP Date: Saturday, September 24th
Time: 9:00 am-5:00 pm
Description: Fort Hartsuff in conjunction with the Grand Army of the Frontier will present, "The Timeline of American Military Firearms 1860-1990" on Sept. 24th & 25th. Members will be dressed in period uniforms, using a collection of original and reproduced firearms to explain the development of the American military firearms starting with Civil War and culminating with the modern weapons used in Desert Storm. Col. Jerry Davenport and Lt. Col. Dale Beethe will be on hand each day to speak with fort visitors and answer questions. Contact the visitor center for more information. A park entry permit is required.
