Does the NE CCW bypass NICS check?

I thought it did and that is what this letter states.  However, I know some folks who have one who still had to get the phone call.

It depends on the dealer actually.  There are many dealers across the state that say they have not been notified and therefore will not change.  This according to many of my customers.  Problem is, I still have never received direct notification from ATF.  Only because of finding the actual letter and printing it off to keep at the shop am I notified.  Thanks to Chris Zeeb for posting that letter originally back in May (?).  Too many dealers in this state are not members of the NFOA, so they are not kept current on things like this.  ;)
