Handgun Market Down in the Dink??
(1/1)
SemperFiGuy:
We All Remember...........
the handgun market back around 2008/2009. Some have called it the Obama Market. [Red color intentional here.]
Back then when the only gun in the dealer's case was a used Rossi, maybe an AMT. Bare shelves everywhere. Glocks all gone. Prices on everything else as firm as granite.
No handgun ammo anywhere back then. Not at Cabelas', Guns-A-Plenty, even Wally World. Had to buy steel-cased Wolf and Bear at gun shows. Or scramble for empty brass to reload. Not even much powder selection on the shelves anywhere.
Times appear to have changed and it now appears to be a Buyer's Market.
For an indication, just go to www.gunbroker.com. Page after page of handgun auctions closing out without bids. Maybe one or two opportunistic bids per page, that's all. No serious pursuit.
Kinda like the current real estate market.
Point of this message: Maybe now's the time to make that Very Special Buy that you've always wanted. [You can tell the Suspicious Wife that you've just borrowed the New Gun from an Old Buddy. Later on, Another Story......And Another. Like we always do.]
And that purchase will help stimulate the Economy. Certainly more than TARP, Cash for Clunkers, Bucks for Bankers, etc., etc. It's the Patriotic Thing to do. Just go do it.

I am all for a great deal but let's not forget that our friends have invested much to be able to supply us with what we need. I enjoy looking at the big store to see what I want but when it's time to buy, I know where take my dollar$ so he is there for me down the road. ;D
I do wish I could buy more though ::)
