Well just because they didn't find any evidence of a shooting doesn't mean there was no shooting. A revolver was probably used since those don't eject shell casings as they are fired.

I'm sure Omaha's gun registration law will help them solve the crimes.

Of course!! 

Criminals are not capable of stealing handguns from outside Omaha's city limits.  Just ask Scheel's in Lincoln... oh, wait.

There is no evidence of a shooting because this person was not shoot, we have a criminal in Omaha that can throw bullets at 2000 fps.   ;D
