1200 rounds for $346 + ~$20 shipping.

So $366 / 1200 = 30.5 cents per round.

Ok...I am willing to go with the M855 since we have three interested parties other than myself.

It does appear that Widener's deal on the IMI M855 is the best I can find for brass case rounds.

Shipping for 1,200 is $24.42.  So that is $346 + $24.42 = $370.42 or 30.8 cents per round.

I am in for at least 300 rounds.  Mudinyeri, dukduk, and SeanN...what say yous guys?

Good thing i started reloading.. By the amounts you order, a progressive press would start to make sense. I reload 223's for $0.23 each (including used brass off gunbroker) After the first load it goes down to $0.18 per round..

If you dont want to reload, there are places like webbsbrass.com . They are a commercial reloader. His starting price is $30 for 100 and it goes down the more you order. If you have a bunch of used brass, you can send it to them and they reload it.

Every penny counts if you talk thousands...
I just got 2500 223 cases this week. Hope to get at least half of them loaded over the weekend.

Of course, that assumes that you have the time for reloading.  :D

Fly, I'd do 300 rounds if we can figure out a cost-effective way of getting it from you to me.

The shipping goes down a miniscule amount...so no, not too much.  BUT it does help me piggyback and get a better price considering I don't have the $ for 1200 rounds.  ;D

Honestly though.  If you guys all want 1200 rounds, you can just order and have it delivered directly to your door.  The advantage of ordering together would be realized if we ordered some of the PMC 55gr.  Ordering 1,000 rounds of that stuff brings it down to $0.285/round.

Let me know if anyone is interested in breaking one of these M855 1,200 round boxes up and I will coordinate.  If this does not work for me then, no big deal.  I will try to find another group that may be interested in that PMC deal.

By the way, I am in Lincoln, and that is where I would have it delivered.
