Best Looking Rifle Opinions

(1/2) > >>

bk09:
We all oogle over what gun we wish we could have; whether it be for it's looks, performance, or "cool" factor. I want to know what everybody likes solely for looks in a rifle. To me the Browning Xbolt White Gold Medallion is as gorgeous as it gets. If I wasn't saving money for handguns when I turn 21 in the near future it would definitely be my next gun. What are all your thoughts?

NE Bull:
I would say I fancy a nice classic levergun such as a Winchester or Marlin with polished blued Octagon barrel and nice high quality wood.  ( but will say I have seen some very pretty  sexay bolt guns also.  )  I think a good finish and the right wood really makes a beautiful, quality,
 firearm.

bkoenig:
I'm a fan of single shot rifles....old Ballards and Stevens 44 1/2 really do it for me.  I don't have any of those, but I have a 74 Sharps replica that is beautiful.  I also have some Martini Henry's which are so odd looking that I like them.  One is an all original military rifle that I need to get dies for and start shooting.  The other two are bare actions that are (slowly) being built into custom rifles.  One will be rebarreled by me to .303 British and keep the original stock, finish, etc.  The other is at a gunsmith getting new wood, an old style Malcolm scope, and a .38-55 barrel.

I think the best looking rifle ever is the old Scottish Farquharson.  The Ruger No. 1 looks a lot loke it, but nothing compares to the original.

FarmerRick:
I like the old Marlin lever-action rifles.  This rare factory-engraved Model 1892 sold at auction for $50,000.
Waaaay out of my price range, but one can dream, right?

RobertH:
for me, it depends on what i have in mind.  for instance, right now i can't turn down a good, well maintained old military rifle or maybe should i get a can or another SBR or look into a 300BLK upper.  i guess i like just about everything.
