Acher Arms broke into (AGAIN)
« on: November 25, 2011, 11:40:05 AM »
OMG! Acher is always getting (successfully) burglarized.

My worry is how many of the 8-12 handguns will end up on the streets of Omaha?  (like the ones recently stolen from Capitol City Pawn did)
And I would like the answers from LPD and OPD on how they plan on 'tracking' these concealable firearms? Don't these punks know they are supposed to register them once they hit the city limits of Omaha or at the point of purchase in Lincoln?   ;)

good thing the criminals are in Nebraska, in California they would have to register them, and so much more red tape to travel with them, and couldn't conceal them in public. i hope they renewed their ccws too, would be unfortunate if they are stopped and realize they have expired licenses.

what dose "and the metal gate behind it was somehow lifted" mean?

Too bad a concealed bear trap just inside the entrance is illegal.  Or maybe Punji sticks.  I really hate thieves.

There is the normal glass business door with a metal door with bars inside of that. I wonder if it was lifted off some hinge pins or something

never been there so i wouldn't know but a gate being lifted sounded odd to me. sounds like they kind of thew what they where doing. and yeah i think if its private property and business you should be able to do what ever you want to as security.it would be awesome *coming in the morning to a guy stuck in a bear trap*, "honey we got another one, pesky criminals" *kick* *dails local pd* "yeah we got another one,- no they don't know when to quit do they. ok thank you"

Maybe those of us in Omaha should write a letter to Cassidy and his successor complaining about the stream of illegal guns from Lincoln.

While a bear trap *might* be illegal, a pepper spray "burglar bomb" would not.

A. It's a business.

B. It cleans up a lot easier than multiple insurance claims.

maybe i should go ask them if i can spend the night, and in exchange get free ammo/a gun occasionally.
It is highly likely the above post may offend you. I'm fine with that.

Seems like a lot of people dissing Lincoln because thugs from Omaha come down here and steal guns.  I don't get it.
Gun related issues are, by nature, deadly serious.  Still, you have to maintain a sense of humor about them.
