A few candles were lit today...
« on: January 08, 2012, 08:39:09 PM »
Members of the Gun Blog Black List followed Weerd's advice today and sort of joined the Brady Campaign in their candle light vigil. Well with a twist.
Candles were lit to to bring attention to ALL VIOLENCE and the tools needed to combat violent attacks.  (which, of course resulted in a bunch of gun porn!) The other sweet side effect is that if you do a Google image search for "candle against violence"  the photos and accompanying stories overwhelm the Brady Bunch!

One such contribution:

Where do you stand with VIOLENCE?

“It is not an issue of being afraid, It's an issue of not being afraid to protect myself.”
 Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert
"A gun is a tool, Marian; no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that."  Shane

(She's a little long winded, but it all ties together, trust me)

There are many, many others if you follow the links.
