Bought an SR9c today
« on: January 28, 2012, 01:49:02 PM »
I have been thinking about a compact 9mm for a while, I wanted a made in USA weapon, and bought the SR9c today.
I fired 50 rounds thru it and am impressed so far. It seems smooth, and recoil is not an issue, no misfires.
It seems to be a quality piece for the money.
Anyone else have one, wondering about your experiences?

I was looking at one today too at the Lincoln Gun show.  Seems like the price of these have come down a bit from the last time I looked.

I passed on it though, as it is about the same size as my CZ2075 RAMI, and I have plenty of extra mags for it already.

A guy at work has the full sized one, he seems to like it quite a bit.

I have both an SR9 and an SR9c. Love them both. Good shooters. Use the c as a back up carry gun.

Well I went in to the Gun Shop pretty sure I would buy the S&W M&P compact or the Ruger SR9C.
I held both side by side and liked the feel of the Ruger, I liked the silver and black 2 tone of the Ruger as well.
I think I got a pretty good deal at $405 at Great Plains Rifle Works near Bruno.
This is the same place I took my CCW class a few years ago.
Mark is a nice fellow and is knowlegable about guns.

Yup, Mark is a good guy.  Took my class from him and Connie too.

Sound like you did good if that was the out the door price.
The one I seen was priced at $389 at the show(not including tax).
