Negligent discharge shatters Lincoln newlyweds "perfect" life
Aldo:
Definitely an unfortunate incident. Also unfortunate for him that he is going to be arraigned in court for homicide:

As noted earlier, this will be a scar on him psychologically for life.
Earlier posted photos (which will come out in court) will show the two of them playing around with guns in a way that is a definite no-no to the big 4 rules that we all have tattooed into our noggins.
Aldo:
Well, the unfortunate fella was charged with manslaughter. Facing range of probation to 20yrs, plus $10000 bail.
He says he and wife were playing the make-believe burglar breaking into the house, as they have done in the past, and was she role-playing the burglar. He forgot he loaded the shotgun, aimed it at her, and the rest is history.
As JimP noted......the main 4 rules. Follow 'em, and all will be well.
ranger04:
This is a rather unfortunate happening, BUT, the fool pointed a weapon at someone and a shot was fired , I feel great sympathy for him in his loss, BUT he caused this. Is the loss of his wife punishment enough? I don't know, BUT he caused this. This will be a sticky situation, Should he have been charged, I have mixed emotions on this one.
Jay:
My heart does go out, but this man pointed a loaded weapon at a person and pulled the trigger. Firearms demand respect and responsibility. Breaking multiple basic firearm safety rules shows neither. Yes, he has already suffered a great loss, but we are all responsible for the outcome of our actions. A bad deal all the way around.
