Nebraska Law must change...

(1/4) > >>

Ross Berck:
Just got back from Vegas...Nevada recognizes Nebraska's concealed carry permit.  In Nevada you can carry ANYWHERE....unless there is a metal detector at the entrance(casinos ok,bars ok, etc)...It just dawned on my lightning quick mind that the only places that law abiding citizens are not allowed to carry are also closed off to criminals....In Nebraska where anybody can put a "no guns" sign up and it has force of law behind it, only criminals will have access to guns since the law abiding must leave their guns behind...THIS MUST CHANGE........It is really a hassle to disarm everytime I go to church, school, post office etc, plus leaving my gun in a car even locked up gives opportunity to thieves......

WingZero:
100% agree.  Does anybody in the legislature have the nads to bring this forward?

RLMoeller:
bring it forward?  sure.  Think there is any chance in hell of the current liberal anti-gun Judiciary committee allowing it onto the floor of the legislature?  Nada

Ross Berck:
I think the people are starting to wake up, judging from comments about the 18yr old mom in OK.  Ive had several non gun people comment they didnt know about castle doctrine and were appalled that we didnt have it.   Has anybody here thought about advertising in conjunction with some "good" proposed legislation?  Look at the explosive gun sales since 2008 even with a bad economy, people are becoming more gun rights conscious ...
