Who the heck would convict an 82 year old lady living on her own for firing a shot into the air to scare off a burglar? Cases like that are all the more reason we need a castle doctrine.

Try telling that to the senators on our Judiciary Committee that say each of our attempts is nothing more than a solution in search of a problem.

Sounds like we need a little old lady to use a gun defensively and then get sued for doing so.  Not that I'd wish that on any little old ladies.

Strange.  Other legislatures are actually debating Castle Doctrine on the floor... we can't get it out of committee because of political BS.
The master has failed more than the beginner has even tried.
