Maybe you can see it there.

Oh, yeah- I'm sure the cops would have no problem with that!  ;D

If you have a ccw:
Then Loaded IWB, OWB, in the bag in a holster, just about anyway you want it so long as its safe.  It can be loaded and readily accessible.

If you do not have a CCW:
OWB, open carry style.  May get you some unwanted attention though.
Other option is you MUST transport it separate from the ammo, in a locked box.  So if you have saddle bags, gun in right bag in a lockbox, ammo in left bag.  The gun must not be readily accessible.

I rode my motorcycle in Lincoln while attending UNL.  I can say that they attract a lot attention, and lots of challenges.  A gun will certainly draw negative attention if open carried.

Get a CCW and tuck it away, problem solved.  If you have a CCW, basically you can transport a handgun any way you wish.  That is the safest way not to get prosecuted IMO.

There, fixed it for ya...   ;)

My method would be seperate cases for gun and ammo. Unloaded gun in one, ammo in the other. Both locked. I would avoid using the tank bag and use the hard cases if available.
As far as CCW on a bike, my IWB Kholster is less than comfortable after an hour or so. and I'm considering a Galco shoulder holster for when I'm riding. I also have some concerns about printing while riding. If I had a crotch rocket, printing would be a definite problem.
Just a comment about the built in holster/seat. There are a lot of people who dislike  motorcyclists. There are also a lot of people who don't see motorcyclists. One or the other can be found regularly while out riding. The possibility of being accused of brandishing would go way up IMHO. The risk outweighs  the cool factor here by a ton. Also, I'd prefer not to advertise that I'm armed.  RJ
