Kimber Super Grade Rifle
Mudinyeri:
Is there any value in a 20 year-old, NIB Kimber Super Grade in .338 WM? I have a guy that's interested in trading one to me but it seems like a gun in a pretty narrow niche. Am I right?

If it's like this one, it's "a wonderful rifle for North American game at an affordable price."

SemperFiGuy:
The Only Problem With a Kimber Rifle:
I wuntz had a Kimber Model 84 in .223Remington.
Darn Thing was Sooooooooo Be-Yooo-Ti-Full that I was afraid to take it out in the field and shoot it. Never did.
Couldn't stand the thought of getting even the tiniest scratch or even a bit of dust on it.
But.......Rifles are Tools; They Have a Job to Do. So I traded it off for some Stuff That Could be Shot and Stuffed in the Trunk.
Now.............I wuntz knew this Be-Yooo-Ti-Full Woman............
Whoops. Wrong Forum.

Sounds about like the guy that owns this .338 WM. He just couldn't bring himself to take it out into the field. He also has a NIB, unfired Ruger #1 in .45-70.
