Cost of Ammunition on the Way Up?!
« on: March 08, 2012, 08:37:08 PM »
In the "For What it's Worth" category:  The price of ammunition appears to be on the rise.  Whether it's the political climate or the saber rattling over Iran or the price of tea in China ... a friend of mine who is an ammunition manufacturer recently e-mailed me to let me know that the cost of his ammunition will go up in the not-too-distant future due to the rising cost of his inputs (powder, primers, etc).

This individual is someone I trust and not someone who would use a scare tactic to get me to buy more ammunition now ... rather than later.

Do with the information what you will.

I believe ya Mud.  Other boards  that I frequent are saying the same thing.  Hope they're wrong.  Time will tell.

Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

 ;)

LOL ... More fuel to the fire.

By the way, SGAmmo seems to be holding the line on price for the moment but they're out of a few of my favorites.
