Want to know why NFA wait times are so ridiculously long?

Watch this video.  Lot of good info about where the NFA process is heading.  Coming soon - online forms!

What's crazy is that there are 30,000 forms backlogged.

It is highly likely the above post may offend you. I'm fine with that.

Might as well do it now.  They're making some changes to speed up the process but I wouldn't expect an improvement any time soon.  My last two stamps took almost exactly 6 months.

Yes, that would be great. I would make a purchase almost immediately if the tax stamp was changed.  I doubt that we would ever be able to remove supressors from the NFA, but we can dream, can't we? Maybe the best we can hope for is lower tax, and a quicker processing time.

Thanks for posting, I saw this vid a couple of mos ago- had kind of forgotten about it.

I would not be so sure that silencers will not be removed from NFA. I certainly wouldn't bet on it, but they are the most likely candidate and the easiest sell. They are not firearms, protect hearing and reduce noise pollution for those skittish city folks. Car mufflers aren't regulated, so why are they on guns?

If we could repeal the Hughes amendment and remove cans from NFA that would be a HUGE (if incremental) step for Liberty.
