reciprocity Thune-Vitter S.2213...Contact your senators

Time to let your senator know you would like him to support Thune-Vitter S.2213 instead of S.2188 for reciprocity...http://capwiz.com/gunowners/issues/alert/?alertid=61113061

I e-mailed Mike Johanns when I saw your post. Received a letter from him today stating that he is cosponsor of S. 2213. Maybe he was from the beginning (?), I don't know, but good to know he's on board. Also don't know about Ben Nelson's position.

Ben voiced tentative support in a letter to me. Sounded like he was more concerned with taking away state's rights than with the actual effects of the bill.

Johanns is all about it, as I'm sure he sees it as easy brownie points with pro-gunners, and something anti-gunners don't even know or care about.

Guys I hate to be Debbie Downer but I don't think this has a chance to get to the floor unless someone comes up with a way to pressure Harry Reed to support it.  He has blocked all conservative Legislation, as Majority Leader he gets to set the schedule, and keeps any Senator from even being able to make amendments to bills so there is no real chance that it would get added to something else that way.

We need to get the Senate changed so Harry is no longer the the Senate Majority Leader, and Schumer would be even worse for us.

I honestly don't think a Republican Senate leader would bring it to the floor.  At least none that would likely become majority leader.
